Sunday 21st June. Christ Church Family Worship Service @ 10.30 am
You are invited to come to Christ Church on Sunday 21st June when our Family Worship will be led by Rev David Nash.

The readings are from Psalm 86 and Matthew ch 10 v16-39

Sunday 28th June

Our family worship with Communion and virtual Communion will be led by Chris Howden.
So that Chris and her husband Brian can catch up with us, both those who knew them and more recent members, we will be having a church lunch. This will follow the morning service and will be a bring and share lunch. We look forward to spending time with them as well as sharing a meal together as a church fellowship.

Dates for your diary!

The Wednesday morning Drop-in 24th June
There will be no Drop in on Wednesday 24th June as we will be holding Rachel’s funeral at 11am.

Under 5s - 25th June
Under 5s will meet from 10:00 to 11:30 am in the church hall. (Term time only)

Coffee and Cake at Christ Church 18th July.
Our next coffee and cake morning will be on 18th July 2026. Come along for a pleasant morning and a chat over a cup of coffee and some cake, between 9.30 and 11.30 am.

July 4th SEP Pilgrimage
We are looking forward now to a renewal of fellowship in the SEP, as we set out on a pilgrimage to journey around all 6 of our Partnership churches on a single day this summer – Saturday 4th July. I’m told that this has been a tradition in our Partnership, and I’m delighted we are revisiting it. Rev Phil Dunning.

Planning your Visit

A Warm Hello (David)

The following information is specifically for those planning a visit, so that you know, beforehand, what to expect on a Sunday morning.

Where and When

We currently meet on Facebook (COVID PLAN) for our Sunday Service starting at 10.30am. For your first visit, we recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early to ready yourself for making the most of your time before the service begins.

Accessibility: There is wheelchair access, and a sound loop for anyone who needs it. Please let one of the Welcome Team know on your arrival and they will help you to get set up. There are disabled toilets in the main foyer.

Our Service

The main service begins at 10.30am with a warm welcome from one of our team members. Then follows a time of sung worship, led by our band. We typically have 2 or 3 songs lasting approximately 20 minutes. Sometimes a person might pray out loud or read a small passage from the Bible. Sometimes people share things that they believe God is saying to the whole church family. This might seem strange the first time you hear it but it’s all part of our connecting with God. We then share news and notices, usually about what’s going on in the life of the church. One of our leaders will then give a sermon that is bible based and that we can apply to our everyday life. We then finish with a final worship song. Sometimes there is an opportunity to receive prayer at the end of the service.
