Our Vision

6DFF64BD-CCED-40C8-B4F7-973BDA

We believe in living out our Christian faith as effectively as possible, having an impact on those who have not yet heard or experienced the great news about Jesus Christ.

We believe we should share the good news about Jesus, equip people in their faith journey and see them live out their faith in the world.

Meeting God

We invite all to discover the love of God, through prayer, worship, reflecting on the Bible and the world around us.

We have a variety of worship styles, led in our services by the music group. We are made up of people from Anglican, Baptist, Methodist, United Reformed and other Christian backgrounds and enjoy sharing that variety together.

Following Jesus

We find inspiration in the life of Jesus, following his example and seeking to be transformed and to transform the world around us by the help of the Holy Spirit.

We meet on Sundays, and during the week in house groups, in order to learn together, support one another and share our experiences.

Serving People

We are an inclusive church, welcoming all to share in our life and involving ourselves in the life of the community. We work alongside our local parish council and support the schools in our area and, along with the other congregations in Stantonbury Ecumenical Partnership, work together on city-wide projects.

Our Service

The main service begins at 10.30am with a warm welcome from one of our team members. Then follows a time of sung worship, led by our band. We typically have 2 or 3 songs lasting approximately 20 minutes. Sometimes a person might pray out loud or read a small passage from the Bible. Sometimes people share things that they believe God is saying to the whole church family. This might seem strange the first time you hear it but it’s all part of our connecting with God. We then share news and notices, usually about what’s going on in the life of the church. One of our leaders will then give a sermon that is bible based and that we can apply to our everyday life. We then finish with a final worship song. Sometimes there is an opportunity to receive prayer at the end of the service.
